Progress & Apr 4 Meeting Set

Thanks to all who came and shared ideas at Tuesday’s meeting! We are on our way to formulating some initial goals! We learned about efforts underway already ... the Indoor Athletic and Events Center ,,, and planning for connectivity in Knowledge Park. We also discussed the desire to have a performing arts & education center, an African American cultural center, and other venues to share Rock Hill's history and cultural resources. There is great interest in including experiential activities in the tourism experience as well! Our next meeting is Apr. 4 at 4PM at the Glencairn Garden Learning Center, 825 Edgemont Ave. Join us!

May 5, 2019 brought the Carolina Panthers another step closer to Rock Hill with Fountain Park hosting a celebration for the signing of the Professional Sports Team Incentive Act by SC Governor Henry McMaster. Tourism is sure to explode when the Carolina Panthers build their new headquarters and practice facility in Rock Hill. New businesses, hotels, restaurants and residents will be attracted to the area as well. And all can enjoy the wonderful attractions that Knowledge Park has in store for them! Welcome, Carolina Panthers!
