    May Meetings

    in TOURISM

On May 2, the Knowledge Park Connectivity Team's liaison, Jeremy Winkler, provided an update on their discussions including the transit bus system. The Tourism Team got the perspective of local parents who travel with their families for youth sports events and the reality of their schedules on these weekends. We stayed with this theme and envisioned when sports events are booked at the Sports and Events Center beginning in 2019, what is needed to support these visitors on their trips? Everyone agreed that providing plentiful parking is important. We welcomed City Councilman John Black to our meeting! And we look forward to our next meeting, May 16 at Noon when we will combine with the Placemaking Team for joint discussions!
