    Seating throughout KP

    in PLACEMAKING

Creating inviting seating throughout KP will help bring people together, as well as provide a calm space for people to sit and relax or enjoy lunch. The way people sit determines the way they interact; the availability of seating draws people to a space, and it can be the force that brings strangers together to talk. Some examples of suggested seating can be found below.

I went to the revitalized Wharf district this past weekend in Washington, DC. Phase I was completed in October and they are currently working on Phase II and III. What an amazing destination! Really great restaurants on the first floor of all apartment buildings. I loved this fire pit = good seating and gathering spot for all.
